September 2020

There is a lot to share with you, so let’s get right to it!!

News from the Home Office: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine

The NEW Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard Size) is now available!!  It is adorable – so compact, sleek looking and easy to use, you’re gonna love it!  Additional cutting plates are also available. Check it out on pages 170-172 of the Annual Catalog.

News from the Home Office: Sale-A-Bration

This is exciting…

"Beginning in 2021, we will have two Sale-A-Bration promotions throughout the year (one in the first six months, and one in the last six months). We will also be shortening the length of the promotion. Instead of having a single, three-month Sale-A-Bration, each Sale-A-Bration promotion will now last for two months. This change will mean four months of Sale-A-Bration a year!"

 Join My Team

When I talk about joining Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator, what comes to mind?  Panic? Self-Doubt (I can’t do that!)? Not me – no way, no how!!  Well, it may not be for you, but how will you know unless you give it a try?  If you are someone who loves Stampin’ Up! products, enjoys getting an immediate 20% discount on all purchases (including that oh-so-cute Cut & Emboss Machine), and loves to be “in the know” by receiving updates and having the opportunity to get new products 30 days before the general public…then, being a demonstrator COULD be exactly for you!  And, now is a great time to consider it with the Get & Go Promotion (effective September 1-30).

For $99, you can choose $125 worth of merchandise from any of the current catalogs AND you will also receive enough cardstock pieces to make 16 cards, a pack of Rhinestone Basic Jewels, the So Much Love stamp set, and the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set – exciting!!!  You may use these card kits for your own projects or branch out and hold an event to get some customers – the choice is yours.  Consider talking to me today about this opportunity.

Coming Soon…

Here is something to look forward to: In October, there will be a 15% discount on select Designer Series Paper from the 2020–2021 Annual Catalog and August–December 2020 Mini Catalog! Can’t wait to see what papers are discounted!

Let’s Zoom!!

Our next Zoom session will be…

          Saturday, September 12 at 6:30 p.m.

I like to make it the first Saturday of the month, but since that is the holiday weekend, I’ve moved it to the second Saturday.  I will send out a Zoom link next the week (so check your email) to my club members and regular class attendees.  If you would like to join us and are not sure whether you would be sent the link, email me and I’ll make sure you get an invite.

Time to move on to the Card Kits for September

There are so many great Bundles out there, I decided to offer 2 different kits for Club Members/Merchandise Buyers.  Look and see which kit (or both) tickles your fancy.

DIY Card Kit #1 for September (aka Club Members or those who wish to purchase merchandise)

The first Kit features the Love of Leaves Bundle (page 49 of the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog). Originally, I wasn’t going to purchase this bundle, but boy am I glad I did!  It is so versatile and a great bundle for male-oriented cards.  Should you choose to purchase this bundle, these are the cards you’ll be able to make with your FREE kit…

This card features the stamp set and was CASE’d from Janet Russell. The stamped images have that automatic “shadowing”. And, I love the background “stitched” die. It adds so much texture to the card.

Next is a CASE’d card from Mary Fish that features the Stitched Leaves Dies. Notice that you could use the die cut leaf and the “frame” separately. Love it!

The third card is again using the Stitched Leaves Dies.  This is CASE’d from Sue Mohr. Don’t you love the stitching in the leaves?

The final card is my creation, making a slimline card.  I am smitten with these slimlines!!  I stamped the background then “popped up” some of the leaves.  What do you think?

Pricing for Card Kit #1 (includes: instructions sent via email, pre-cut pieces that cannot be done with the Stitched Leaves Dies, and embellishments/ribbon).

FREE to anyone who purchases the Love of Leaves Bundle and is picking up from here or $7.50 if mailing

FREE: a quarter pack (12 sheets) of Plaid Tidings 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper (shown on page 57 of the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog)

DIY Card Kit #2 for September (aka Club Members or those who wish to purchase merchandise)

The second Kit features the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle (page 13 of the Annual Catalog). I really like these sunflowers and hope you do, too.  Should you choose to purchase this bundle, below are the cards you will make with your FREE kit…

This is such a cheery card!  It is CASE’d from Cindy Elam.  Nice, clean lines – simply elegant.

Next is a stamped and die-cut sunflower which I water-coloredwith stamp pads and a watercolor brush.  I like the soft look to this flower.  One thing to note on this card…you will create the background by die cutting the detail sunflower and

adhering to the card base.  This is CASE’d from Angela Meiritz-Reid.

This card is a “book” card.  It is my design, but I received inspiration from Mary Deatherage.  Doesn’t it radiate autumn?

The last card shows the versatility of this stamp set – sunflowers aren’t just for fall!!  This set makes a beautiful sympathy card. And it would also be great for  birthdays, anniversaries andget well cards.  Thank you, Anne Matasci, for your inspiration.

Pricing for Card Kit #2 (includes: instructions sent via email, pre-cut pieces that cannot be done with the Sunflowers Dies, and embellishments/ribbons).

FREE: a quarter pack (12 sheets) of Flowers for Every Season 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper (shown on pages 11 and 148 of the Annual Catalog)

Some Assembly Required Kit #3 (aka SAR kit)

This 4-card kit will be stamped with NON-STAMPIN’ UP! PRODUCTS, but are very similar to the cards in Card Kit 1 above.

I changed this one up a bit with stamping a message on the front and using an embossing folder for more dimension.

A cute card that could be used as a note card or adhere the included message for inside (I just feel like giving you a card).

This is a note card.  I love this design!

I could not keep offering the slimline cards to Club Members and leave you guys out of making one, so here you go!! This is a favorite of mine.

Pricing for Card Kit #3 (includes: instructions sent via email, cardstock, die-cut pieces, stamped images/messages, ribbon, and embellishments).
