Happy New Year!! Yes, the new year has arrived, and it may look a whole lot like last year, but there is hope for brighter days ahead. We are on our way – albeit very slowly - to being able to socialize, stamp and gather IN PERSON. I can’t wait for that day to happen, but in the meantime stay with me as we hold classes virtually.

Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine
Yay!! The Mini Machine will be available for purchase starting January 5!!!
This little guy is the perfect companion to the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss!! It works well for traveling and when you are working with those small dies and embossing folders!
Sale-A-Bration
Oh yah…it’s that time again. But there is exciting news for this year – there will be 2 Sale-A-Brations!!! The first one begins on January 5 and will go through February 28 and the second one will come mid-year. January-June 2021 Mini Catalog
Don’t you just love when a new catalog comes out…curling up on the sofa with a cup of hot chocolate and cookies with the catalog to browse through? I sure do (only I like to take mine to bed with me, along with a note pad and pen!!). There are so many great bundles in this catalog – it will be hard to choose!! Need one of these catalogs? Contact me.
January Card Kits
Your choices are plentiful this month! For the DIY’ers – two different bundles plus a third Valentines/Anniversary bundle. And, a fourth kit for those of you who just want to assemble and send. So…here we go!
DIY Card Kit #1 for January (you must purchase the Dragonfly Garden Bundle to make these cards. You will find the Bundle on page 25 of the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog)
I CASE’d this card from Gail Ellis. It is so quick and easy
to make – perfect for a busy mom or working woman.
The background is embossed with the Dainty Diamonds
Embossing Folder (page 184 in the Annual Catalog).
This card is all the rage – the Bendi Card! It is a stand up card,
but lies flat to fit in a regular envelope. It also is great to
use that mountain of Designer Series Paper you've been hoarding!!
Another easy, time-saving, yet beautiful card. I embossed
the background with the Subtle Embossing Folder (page
185 in the Annual Catalog), but it would also look
great with a bolder pattern.
This card was also inspired by Gail Ellis. Just beautiful.
The Dragonfly is paired with the Very Versailles Stamp
Set (page 114 of the Annual Catalog) and sponged
with the new Blending Brushes (page 70 in the
January-June 2021 Mini Catalog).
BONUS CARD! This is not part of the kit above but may be purchased separately for $5.00.
I CASE’d this card from Debbie Beckler. It requires a bit
more work to create this due to the additional die cutting.
The Forever Flourishing dies were used, but you may use
whatever you have.
Pricing for Card Kit #1 (includes: instructions sent via email, pre-cut pieces that cannot be done with the Dragonfly Punch, and embellishments/ribbon – no stamped sentiments are included).
FREE: to anyone who purchases the Dragonfly Garden Bundle and is picking up from here or $7.50 if mailing
FREE: One quarter pack of the Dandy Garden 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper (page 25 in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog)
DIY Card Kit #2 for January (you must purchase the Beautiful World Bundle to make these cards. You will find this Bundle on page 25 of the Annual Catalog.) Many of you have asked for male-oriented cards – this is the kit just for you!!
This card was inspired by Barb Stewart and features
the background being “homemade” from a map I had of
Switzerland. In fact, any maps shown on the following
cards use this homemade paper.
I love this card! It is quite detailed with a double-sided front!! I CASE’d this
from Alice Tomal and am really happy with it. She also made one in Cinnamon
Cider that was equally striking.
I wanted something made with stamping instead of
die cutting the globes, so I CASE’d this card from Bex.
The background is embossed with the Old World Paper Embossing
Folder (page 185 in the Annual Catalog). Doesn’t it scream “man card”?!
Here’s a fun card. Just for variety – a partial front.
BONUS CARD! This is not part of the kit above but may be purchased separately for $5.00.
Pricing for Card Kit #2 (includes: instructions sent via email, pre-cut pieces that cannot be done with the World Map Dies, and embellishments/ribbons – no stamped sentiments are included).
FREE to anyone who purchases the Beautiful World Bundle and is picking up from here or $7.50 if mailing
FREE: One quarter pack of the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper (page 150 in the Annual Catalog)
DIY Card Kit #3 for January (you must purchase the Always in My Heart Bundle to make these cards. You will find this Bundle on page 12 of the January-June 2021 Catalog.) This kit is geared for love, anniversaries, and Valentine’s Day.
This is a “book fold” card. It has a soft, romantic look. The
Background is embossed with the Painted Texture Embossing
Folder (page 33 in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog).
I CASE’d this card from Amy Koenders. I really like
The banner in this die set – so versatile for any card.
It is hard to see in this photo, but the background is
embossed with the Subtle Embossing folder.
This card was inspired by Sue Vine. I saw her stamped background
(uses one of the leaf designs from the Forever Fern stamp set)
and knew I had to copy her idea. It is sort of a rainbow but
would be perfect using any color combination you prefer.
The inspiration for this card came straight from the Stampin’ Up!
catalog (page 12 in the January-June 2021 Mini). I really
liked the floral design on the candy box and adapted it to
a heart. Then added some texture by embossing the heart
with the Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder (page 185 in
the Annual Catalog) – cute, huh?
Pricing for Card Kit #3 (includes: instructions sent via email, pre-cut pieces that cannot be done with the Floral Heart Dies, and embellishments/ribbons – no stamped sentiments are included).
FREE to anyone who purchases the Always in My Heart Bundle and is picking up from here or $7.50 if mailing
FREE: One quarter pack of the True Love Designer Series Paper
(page 11 in the January-June 20201 Mini Catalog)
And, as an added bonus…this Bundle purchase will qualify you for a free Sale-A-Bration item!
Some Assembly Required Kit #4 (aka SAR kit)
This 4-card kit will be pre-stamped, pre-die cut, pre-punched, etc. All you need to do is add adhesives to assemble!!
“Three French hens, two turtle doves...” Sorry, I
know, Christmas is over 😊, but I couldn’t resist!!
Aren’t these two turtle doves adorable?!
Inside message: Our hearts are meant to be together
This card was made as a Valentine’s Day card, but it could also be
an anniversary card.
Inside Message: Happy Valentine’s Day
Or…how about a birthday card? Well, isn’t this
slimline card adorable? I love these Zebras!!
The final card was inspired by a Thanksgiving card
I received from my friend, Marcia Smith. Look at
all the texture on this card. And so many possibilities
– use an oval or circle instead of a heart, change the colors,
use different kinds of designer series papers. Wow!
Inside Message: Happy Birthday
Pricing for Card Kit #4 (includes: instructions sent via email, cardstock, die-cut pieces, stamped images/messages, ribbon, and embellishments).
You may also order these without messages.
FREE to anyone who places a Stampin’ Up! merchandise order of at least $25.00.
$20.00 if no order is placed and is picked up
$27.50 if no order is placed and is mailed

Zoom Card Class
Tentatively, our class dates will be January 23 and 24. The dates may need to change depending on when the merchandise from Stampin’ Up! is received.
Paper Pumpkin Club
I’ve been thinking about this for a while – forming a “club” of Paper Pumpkin subscribers and have a Zoom class to put together the kits. I would like to have a “trial” group of at least 4 people to see how it works out.
What is Paper Pumpkin? Paper Pumpkin by Stampin’ Up! is a crafting subscription kit that delivers creativity to your door every month. Each box includes everything you need to make the included project (the project could be cards or gift packaging or home décor, etc.).
The “pluses” are: No additional products are needed to complete your projects. You will receive a small stamp set; a mini ink pad; die-cut, pre-stamped images; embellishments and adhesives.
The “minus” is: You do not know what you are going to get. (This could also be a plus if you like surprises!) and the projects will be made according to the written instructions included in the box (in other words, no additional layers or embellishments).
My question is this – would you be interested in trying a 3-month subscription for Paper Pumpkin? The cost would be $63.00 (and, you will get to choose a free product from the Sale-A-Bration catalog) for the 3-month subscription and must be ordered by January 10. Your first shipment will arrive in February around the 20th of the month and I will schedule a Zoom class during the last week in February.
