June Classes and Projects

Well...the year is marching onward way faster than it seems possible!! June is almost here and so are our classes, which happen to be...

     Thursday, June 1 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.)
     Friday, June 2 (9:00 a.m. to noon)
     Saturday, June 3 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.)
     Sunday, June 4 (1:00 - 4:00 p.m.)

I have space available for all classes, so if you haven't signed up yet, please give me a call, text me or shoot me an email.  Class fee is $15.00 and here are our projects:

The 4th of July will be here and gone before
our next class, so we will make one this
month.  I really like the way this turned out!

I am in love with the new Daisy Punch.
Oh - my - gosh!! Wait until you get your hands on it,
you'll agree with me; I'm sure of it!!
This little note card holder will be made out
of one of the new In Colors - Powder Pink...

and then, we'll make 4 cards to go inside
the holder out of the remaining In Colors:
Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide
and Berry Burst (this card is shown in
Sweet Sugarplum as I hadn't received the
new In Color card stock while in the designing process).
This allows each customer to go home with a "sample"
of ink, paper and ribbon in the 2017-2019 In Colors.

Watch next month when I post information regarding a Christmas Card Club which will begin in July...it could be something right up your alley!!

Thank you for looking and have a wonderful June.

March Madness; St. Patrick's Day; Daylight Savings Time and...Classes!

There's a little bit of everything for everyone in March: basketball fans love March Madness; the Irish love St. Patrick's Day (and isn't everyone a little Irish?); baseball fans love Spring Training; everyone loves Daylight savings time and stampers love Sale-A-Bration!!

Sale-A-Bration ends on the 31st, so don't forget to take advantage of those great free items before they go away!

So, that brings me to our class dates and projects for this month. Class dates are...

Thursday, March 9 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.)
Friday, March 10 (9:00 a.m. to noon)
Saturday, March 11 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.)
Sunday, March 12 (1:00 - 4:00 p.m.)

I have availability in all classes except Friday and Sunday.  If you haven't signed up for a class yet, please email, text or call me to reserve your spot.  I will maintain a waiting list on a "first come/first served" basis for the classes what are already full.

And our projects will be...

This card is exactly what it says, "sweet"!
I CASE'd this card from Mary Fish;
changed the ribbon and sentiment
and, there you have it.

I used the Avant Garden stamp set in
the Sale-A-Bration Catalog to create this very soft,
spring-inspired card that was CASE'd from
Tami White.  The images in this set can be used
to make beautiful cards for many different occasions.

How about this cutey?  Perfect for an
Easter card or welcome Spring.
For what occasion would you use it?

And, lastly, this romantic-looking
dragonfly card.  This is the perfect
card for no particular reason; just... "for you".

That concludes the posting for this month.  Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you next month.

February 2017 - Another Six Weeks of Winter Predicted!

Yes, that's right - Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and has declared that winter will be with us for another six weeks - oh, dear!!  But, don't despair, there is good news in this declaration - six weeks of staying home and stamping; yippee!!!!!!

So...let's get down to business.  Classes for this month will be next week:
Thursday, February 9 (9:00 a.m. - noon and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.)
Friday, February 10 (9:00 a.m. - noon and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.)
Saturday, February 11 (9:00 a.m. - noon and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.)
Sunday, February 12 (1:00 - 4:00 p.m.)

Sunday's class is full, but I can put you on a waiting list. Additionally, I have 1 space available for both Friday morning and Saturday morning, so let me know as soon as possible if you want that time slot.

Our projects for this month are below:

This card was supposed to be done last month, but
we ran out of time, therefore we are making
 it this month.  It's a great Valentine's Day card;
anniversary card; birthday card or for any
other occasion of which you are celebrating!

Isn't this a classy card?  I made this into a
wedding card, but it would also be nice for
an anniversary card, or even for Valentine's Day.
And, for a twist, below is one made into a
St. Patrick's Day card!

Here's a beautiful, soft, romantic card utilizing
paper from the Falling in Love DSP pack - talk about
easy - just make a few cuts, add a die-cut
piece and doily, stamp a sentiment and some
flowers; then, voila; an absolutely lovely card.

And, finally, a super cute "chick" card.  Perfect
to let a friend know you are thinking about them.

One final reminder - Sale-A-Bration is a little over 1/3 of the way through!  And, if you  have already gotten everything you wanted from the "free" catalog, you're in luck because there are new products available - whoo, hoo!!!  Check them out on the website.

Have a great month and I'll be back at you in March.  Thanks for stopping by.

January 2017 - A New Year

Happy New Year Everyone!

This is always an exciting time for Stampin' Up! customers.  Not only does a new supplemental catalog come out (The Occasions Catalog), but Sale-A-Bration also starts - yay, free stuff!!

If you haven't received the new catalogs, please let me know and I'll make sure to get them to you.

I have been furiously working on projects for January since classes are next weekend.  Here are the dates and times:

Thursday, January 12 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.)
Friday, January 13 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.)
Saturday, January 14 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.)
Sunday, January 15 (1:00 to 4:00 p.m.)

If you haven't reserved your spot, please give me a call, send an email or text me your request.  I have availability for all classes except Friday morning, Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon.  I will maintain waiting lists for these classes.  Wondering what I charge? Only $15.00.

Now, would you like to see what I've worked so hard on?  Here they are...

This card was CASE'd from Carol McCarran.  It is a great
card for any occasion, but particularly for an anniversary
or Valentine's Day.

I saw a "version" of this card on the website, Stamp with
Brian.  Very cute for Valentine's Day.  It utilizes the
Sending Love DSP and Love Notes Framelits
found in the new Occasions Catalog.

Did you ever think you could make a peacock out of the
Paisley Framelits?  I love it!!  I found this on Marilyn's
Stamping Studio. Adorable!!

And now for a quick, easy, fun card.  This was created by
Tammy White. Even though I made this an anniversary card,
it can be done for several occasions.  With (or without) a
quick color change, it could be a "happy retirement" card,
a "got a new job" card or even a "I made it through the day" card.

Well, folks, that's all I have for this month.  Thanks for stopping by to take a look.

November Class Dates and Projects

It's November already - that means this is your last opportunity to come to a class for the year!!  Yep, I take the month on December off to enjoy the holiday season (except for the first weekend of the month, but more about that later).

So...here we go.  Class times and dates are:

Thursday, November 10 (9:00 a.m. to noon)
Friday, November 11 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.)
Saturday, November 12 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.)
Sunday, November 13 (1:00 - 4:00 p.m.)

The Friday morning and Sunday afternoon classes are full, but I will maintain a waiting list.  Give me a call, text me or send an email if you would like to sign up and haven't done so already.  Reserve your spot today!

Would you like to see the projects?  Aren't you just a little curious, hmmm?
Okay, take a look...

Because of the complexity of this card, we will
only be completing 3 cards this month. But...
they are great cards and I absolutely adore this
first one.  I don't remember where I saw this,
but it was CASE'd from someone in my
Udderly Awesome Group.

As if it isn't cute enough from the outside,
take a look at the inside of the card.
I love it; love it; love it!!!!

Then we'll move on to two Thanksgiving cards.
I CASE'd this card from ButterDishDesigns.com
Isn't it a nice, simple card?  It utilizes the
Totally Trees stamp set, which happens to be
a favorite of mine.

And, it isn't Thanksgiving without pumpkins.
This card is one of Cindee Wilkinson's designs.
We're back to using that great stamp set, Thoughtful
Branches.  By the way, I hope you purchased it because
it is no longer available!

Two other things I would like to mention.  If you have been thinking about joining a "Club" or would like to know what a Club is all about, contact me and I'll fill you in.  We will begin new clubs for the 2017 year in January, but you need to let me know by December 15 if you want to join the fun.

And, if you would like to get your Christmas cards made all in one fell swoop, then join us the first weekend in December (1-4) for a Christmas Card Retreat. I have information available for that also. Act fast as the deadline to let me know is November 19.

Thank you for your support this past year and taking time to check out my blog.

Wishing you and yours a merry holiday season!

October Classes and Projects

I just got back from a "fall color" trip to Colorado and I am so into the Autumn season!!  The Aspen trees were absolutely breathtaking. What an inspiration and rejuvenation, ahhhhh.

So...would you like to know when the October classes are?  Here goes:

Thursday, October 13 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.)
Friday, October 14 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.)
Saturday, October 15 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.)
Sunday, October 16 (1:00 to 4:00 p.m.)

If you haven't had the opportunity to schedule yourself for a class, please give me a call, text me or send me an email. Friday morning and Saturday morning classes are already full, but I will start a waiting list for anyone who cannot make it for another time slot.

Now for the "good" part - the projects!!!  Are you ready?  Okay, here they are...

Isn't this little guy adorable?  I CASE'd this card
from Patty Bennett and Cindee Wilkinson.  I combined
elements from both of their cards to make this one.

Look how cute the sunflower is!
I got this great idea from Linda Cullen. She created the
sunflower by using the Thoughtful Branches
stamp set and Beautiful Branches Thinlits .  It is
a wonderful card for fall, or as a thank you, or a
birthday or a Thanksgiving card.  Very versatile!

When I saw the "Detailed Santa Thinlit", I couldn't
wait to make something with it.  Talk about
easy!!  It is teamed with the host stamp set,
Time of Year.  And the glitter (hard to see in the
picture) gives it the added "pop" that it needed.

And, finally, another lovely card using the
 "Thoughtful Branches" stamp set.
This makes me think of cool breezes
and brisk autumn mornings.  Great card
for male birthdays, too.

By the way, the Thoughtful Branches stamp set and Beautiful Branches Thinlits bundle is still available for purchase, BUT only while supplies last. If you haven't gotten yours yet, please contact me and I'll be happy to place your order for you.  This one is certainly a "keeper".

And, there you have it.  I'm done for this month.  Until November...have a wonderful month and safe Halloween!!

Thanks for stopping by.
