The class fee is $15.00 and I have availability in all classes except Friday morning.  Call, text or email me if you would like to reserve a seat in class.  Want to know what we'll be making?  See below:

Male oriented cards are always the hardest for me
to make.  So when I got the Geared Up Garage stamp set,
I knew I had a winner!  This card was originally designed
by B.J. Peters and is appropriate for a birthday or Father's Day.

So, this one has a totally different look from our
first card. I liked this one so much that I duplicated
if for a friend's birthday!

Now, this card was CASE'd from Nola Creations. I
really like to softness of this card.  It was made with
the Dear Doily stamp set (which is retiring) and makes
a nice thank you, sympathy or thinking of you card.
Change the message and it will work for a wedding
or birthday card.

Isn't this the sweetest card?  I think it just
screams spring/summer.  I sure am going to miss
the Gingham Gala Paper which is also retiring.
For what occasion would you use this card?

Another event starting this month will be the Christmas Card Club. The goal is to help you get your Christmas cards done over a period of months and is perfect for someone who likes to send out a variety of cards to friends and family.

Our first Club will be Monday, May 27 from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and costs $30.00.  Here's how it works:  I choose 2 Christmas cards (NOTE: cards may not always be made with all Stampin' Up! products and may utilize retired product of Stampin' Up!). Each person makes 5 cards of each design.  You go home with 10 Christmas cards - not a bad start for getting those cards done in time for the holidays (did I really say that already???!!).  Want to see what we'll be doing at this class?  Here you go...

Have questions or want to sign up?  Contact me for more information.

And, lastly, the new 2019-2020 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog (seen below) is being shipped out to customers the middle of May.  Watch for it in the mail!!

That's all for this month - have a good one and a safe Memorial Day Weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.

April 2019

Hello fellow stampers!

I decided to hold off in blogging on "April Fool's Day", so today's the day to let you know what's happening.  Classes for this month are:

     Thursday, April 11 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.)
     Friday, April 12 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.)
     Saturday, April 13 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.)
     Sunday, April 14 (1:30 to 4:30 p.m.)

I have availability for all classes except Friday morning, so give me a call, text or email me if you haven't reserved your spot.

Spring is definitely in the air - thank goodness!!  So...in honor  of spring, all of our cards for this month will be seasonally based; and what better way to celebrate the end of winter than to use the symbol of hope, rebirth and grace - beautiful butterflies!!

I am showing six cards using the Butterfly Gala and Beauty Abounds Bundles, but we will only make four in class.

The first sample is a gorgeous card CASE'd from
Katherine Ross.  A multi-purpose card that has no
stamping on the outside; just using the Butterfly Beauty
Thinlits.

The color combination (Flirty Flamingo and Coastal
Cabana) on this card that was CASE'd from Sheryl
Sheckler, just screams SPRING to me.  It is perfect
for a birthday card, but could also be used for many
other reasons - what's yours?

And, what about this one?  It reminds me of rainbows.
I found it on stampwithann.com. and is sure to
cheer someone's day.

Get tired of making cards? How about a home décor piece
instead?  I decided to frame it, but it was originally a card
that was CASE'd from Gail Ellis. Those attending class will
have the option of making it a card or framed art
piece - remember to bring your 5 x 7 frame with you!

What a beautiful, simple card this is.  Works well as a
get well, sympathy or birthday card.  Maybe even
a last minute Easter card, hmmm....

Our last sample is another simply elegant card.
It uses the Dual Butterfly Punch (which is back in stock, but
not sure if it will stay in stock - don't wait to order this one;
get it now!).

Well, it think that's about it for this month.

Thanks for stopping by and see you in May!!!

March 2019 Classes

Welcome back!!  Another month has flown by and it's time to look forward to March - warmer weather; spring; daylight savings time; and for you sports fans - college basketball's March Madness!!

It's also March Madness in the stamping world, as in "madness" for the final phase and month of Sale-A-Bration!  Not only can you earn new products, but you may also purchase coordinating thinlits and framelits to the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets you may have already gotten in January and February - pretty cool!!  Call, text or email for more information or go to my website to learn more.

Classes for March will be...
     Thursday, March 7 (9:00 a.m. - noon and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.)
     Friday, March 8 (9:00 a.m. - noon and 1:30 - 430 p.m.)
     Saturday, March 9 (9:00 a.m. - noon and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.)
     Sunday, March 10 (1:30 - 4:30 p.m.)

I have availability in all classes except Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning, but will start a waiting list for those times.  The calendar becomes "fluid" after sending out reminders, so don't be discouraged from signing up.  The class fee is $15.00.  Take a look below to see our projects (time permitting, we will complete all four cards)...

Isn't this the cutest card - it screams "Easter"
to me, but can be used for other purposes.
I CASE'd this card from Facebook, but cannot
remember who the designer was.

Next is a "technique" card.  I saw this on the Simply
Simple Stamping website and really liked it.  Outlining
the design in black makes a world of difference
to the look of the card.  Compare it to the one below
to see...

This card may be used for lots of occasions:
birthday, Easter, sympathy (changing the
sentiment, of course) or just thinking of you.

Wow - talk about simply elegant - this is it!
Ink on paper with an embossing folder and voila!
Then add ribbon, a doily and a sentiment; done!!
You choose the reason - I choose birthday.

And, there you have it for this month.  Enjoy your stamping and I'll see you next month.  Thanks for stopping by!!

February 2019 Classes

It's time for card classes again - yippee!! Amazing how fast time flies by.  So, here's the lineup:

     Thursday, Feb 7 (9:00 am-noon and 1:30-4:30 pm)
     Friday, Feb 8 (9:00 am-noon and 1:30-4:30 pm)
    Saturday, Feb 9 (9:00 am-noon and 1:30-4:30 pm)
Sunday, Feb 10 - No classes

Our projects will be the following:

This card is adapted from a card I
saw by Tami White.  Nice and simple with
clean lines.  But, if you need a
St. Patrick's Day card, it can be
changed like so...

Isn't this a darling card?  Just a cute little note
card that I CASE'd from a stamper whose name
I don't know, but has a blog, Stamps-n-Lingers.com

Now, this one is my favorite.  So soft and
romantic looking - perfect for a wedding or
anniversary card.  Actually, you can make
it a Thinking of You, Get Well and even
a Sympathy card.

Our last card is another note card that I
CASE'd from Lauren Alarid. I love
the sweetness of this card.

Hope you have a wonderful month.  Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you on my next post!!

Upcoming Red Hatter Card Class

Good afternoon everyone!

One of my customers asked if I would have a card class for her Red Hatter Group. Of course, I responded, "YES"  So this Saturday, February 2, I have 11 Red Hatters coming over to make cards.

Most of these ladies are not stampers, so I had to design some simple cards for them to make.  What's better for that than our own All Inclusive Card Kits!  I chose the Made to Bloom Kit that is in our 2019 Occasions Catalog and, if there is time, I have a "modified" card from the August 2018 Paper Pumpkin, "Blissful Blooms".  Below are pictures of the cards.

I think they will like the cards and I know they will enjoy the camaraderie that automatically happens when stamping!!

That's all for now...I'l be back in a few days!  Thanks for stopping by!

Since Valentine's Day will be here soon, most of the cards are geared toward that holiday.  Although, they may also be used for other occasions.  Here they are:

This card was CASE'd from and inspired by Sue Mohr.
I follow her blog and love her cards.  You can easily
make this into a birthday or anniversary card.

Isn't this the cutest card?!  The original design was
made by Sue Vine.  Where do these demonstrators
get their creativity?!!! This is another card that can
be used as a friendship, anniversary or birthday card.

I love this card.  I CASE'd it from Mary Fish.  It just
oozes romance and would make a great
anniversary card or Valentine's Day card.  And it's a
perfect Thinking of You card.

And, lastly, another card CASE'd from Mary Fish.  I
also follow Mary's blog.  She gives me great inspiration.
This is a nice winter-themed card that may be used
for just about any occasion (thinking of you, sympathy,
male birthday, thank you or a note card).

I am also offering a "HOME" decor class on:

     Saturday, January 26 (9:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.*)
     Sunday, January 27 (1:00 - 5:00 p.m.*)

*These times are approximate as I'm not sure how long it may take.  But, we will not go beyond these times.

Let me show you what we will be making:

We'll start by making the base "home" with
an interchangeable "O".

This is January, February and March...

April, May and June...

July, August and September...

October, November and December

These classes are limited to 8 people per class and the fee is $30.00.  THE FRAME IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST.  YOU MUST PURCHASE A 5 X 7 TABLE FRAME OF YOUR CHOICE. Call, text or email me make a reservation or if you have any questions.

That's all for now - have a great month.  And, thanks for stopping by!

September News

I know, I know - I said I was going to get better about posting, but...I haven't. Where does the time go?!  I keep thinking I can manage things better than I do. (BIG sigh)...

Well, let's get on to more important matters...our classes for this month.  Here are the dates:

     Thursday, September 7 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.)
     Friday, September 8 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.)
     Saturday, September 9 (9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.)
     Sunday, September 10 (1:00 to 4:00 p.m.)

I have availability in all classes except for Friday morning.  The cost is $15.00 and below are our projects.

I wasn't sure I wanted this stamp set
when I saw it in the catalog, but I
sure am glad I got it now.  Doesn't this
remind you of riding a bicycle when
you were a child?  And, take a look
below for the opened card.

It's that time of year to start
thinking about the holidays, so
each month we'll make 1
holiday card.  I really like the
look of Tranquil Tide ink and paper
for Christmas cards.

This card is to commemorate the
"end of summer".  The Lemon Zest stamp
set is perfect for the occasion.  And,
doesn't your mouth water just looking
at the lemons and limes?

If time permits, we will make this
birthday card intended for the man
in your life.  This card is CASE'd
from Kim Williams.

Hope you like what you see.  If you have been thinking about taking a class or just think you would enjoy a day out stamping with fellow addicts, please give me a call, send a text or email me...we'd love to have you join us.

Have a good month! And thanks for stopping by,
Carol
