Cards for October Class

Today's post is to showcase the cards we will be making in our October classes.  The class dates are: Sunday, October 12 (1:00-4:00 pm) and Columbus Day, Monday, October 13 (9:00 am-noon and 1:30-4:30 pm).  Give me a call, shoot me an email or send a text if you would like to sign up to make these great cards!

This card is for the "trick-or-treater" in each of us.  It is a Halloween card, but can easily be changed into a Fall card.

The original idea for this card was CASE'd from Michele Reynolds and then I changed it up a bit.  It can also be made into a Halloween card by turning them into jack-o' lanterns and changing the message.

We were supposed to do this card last month in class, but there wasn't enough time.  So, ta-dah, we'll make it this month!

I attended a stamping retreat in May and we made this card.  It is so lovely, I just had to add it into this class.  The dies used are not Stampin' Up!, but the inks and papers are.

Thanks for looking!!!

Hi Everyone.  I know I'm a little late in posting this, but the saying goes, "Better late than never!", and there you have it!!

Here are the projects for this week's classes:

This little card kit was a make & take at the Stampin' Up! Convention this year.

I found this card on the Splitcoaststampers website and CASE'd it from Angie Henninger - beautiful fall card!

This card is CASE'd from Becky Cowley love it!

And, if time permits, we will do this card I found on Stampin' Connection. The original card was made a little differently.  I "stepped" it up a little.

So, that's it for today.  Thanks for stopping by...

Christmas/Hanukkah Card Retreat Weekend

It isn't too early to be thinking about your holiday card making! If you have participated in this event in prior years, please look in the Blog Archive - right hand column of this blog (click on 2011; then July; then Christmas Cards) to view the most current designs.  If you haven't participated before, here's how it works:

     1.  Decide how many cards you want to make and meet with me between now and September 15 to choose which design you like. You may view samples by looking in my Archive in the right hand column of this blog or bring me a sample of what you like and we'll see how to adapt it.
     2.  I will calculate the cost of all materials needed for your project.  If you are using a stamp set that I have on hand, you may use my stamps and you also use my ink pads, thus saving you the cost of having to purchase these items. You will pay for just the cost of consumables needed (paper, embellishments, envelopes, etc.) plus a $5.00 supply fee.
     3.  I will place the order and have all your supplies ready for you to complete the cards.
     4.  Come to my house on Friday, September 26 or Saturday, September 27 at 9:00 a.m., or after, to cut all your paper and stamp all designs.
     5.  Come back on Sunday, September 28 at 11:00 a.m., or after, to assemble the cards.  You will go home with all your completed cards and envelopes.  All you need to do is address the envelopes and put them in the mail!!  Easy peasy!!!
NOTES:
Depending on how many cards you are making, you may be able to complete everything in one day.
On September 26 and 27, we will have lunch brought in for anyone wishing it (around 1:00 p.m.), but refreshments will be available all day and also on the 28th.
If the weekend of the September 26 is not good for you, I will also have a retreat December 5-7.  Should neither weekend work for you, I can try to accommodate your schedule and set a time that is convenient for both of us.

So...don't wait - sign up today, space is limited.
