August-December 2020 Mini Catalog

I know, we just got the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog and now another catalog is coming out?!!  Yep, that is true.  Stampin’ Up! is transitioning their catalog year, therefore the Mini Catalog is coming out a month earlier.  I should have the catalogs by the middle of the month, so contact me if you need one.  You know, it isn't too early to be thinking about those Christmas cards!

Zoom Get Together

I miss seeing all of you.  So…how about a zoom get together?

          Saturday, July 11 at 6:30 p.m.

I will send out the link for joining the session next week.  Be sure to check your email!

What have you been doing since the shelter in order?  Are you making cards? Quilting? Scrapbooking? Other crafty things?  Have them handy to show everyone your projects.

In-Your-Home Classes/Kits for July

As I did for last month, there will be 2 different Kits:

Kit #1 – for club members and individuals who wish to buy product (stamp sets/dies/ribbon/etc.).  My choice for this month is the Forever Fern Bundle (#154094).  As soon as I saw this bundle in the catalog, I knew I had to have it.  And, I’m in love with it!!  It is a “DistINKtive” stamp set that gives you a gorgeous image when stamped.  Additional items are used, but you can substitute with whatever you may have at home should you not want to purchase everything.

This card was CASE’d from Connie Babbert and has a beautiful, modern look to it.

I CASE’d this card from Dani Dziama. I am using the messages that come with the stamp set, but you can use whatever greeting you want.  It would be a great thinking of you, get well, sympathy  or male birthday card!

Here’s a new technique for you which was CASE’d from June Dunn.  It is a lot of fun and I think you’ll like it, too!! This Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper is great for making this type of card.  You will be using up some of your old Designer Series Papers faster than you can blink you eyes!!   Again, personalize the message to meet your needs.

Our last card for this kit was modified from one by Bethany Drew.  I love the color combination and using the Daisy Punch to give a pop to the ferns.  Even the inside of the card is beautifully stamped.

Products used in addition to the Forever Fern Bundle are…

Inks: Pretty Peacock; Soft Sea Foam (or you could use Mint Macaron); Shaded Spruce; Memento Black; Crushed Curry; Crumb Cake

Punches*: Double Label; Medium Daisy

Dies*: Painted Labels; Stitched So Sweetly; Layering Circles

Embossing Folders: Ornate Floral; Layered Leaves; Subtle

*I will punch or die cut these pieces if you do not own these products and do not want to purchase them.

Pricing for Card Kit #1 (includes: step-by-step instruction sent via email, pre-cut pieces that cannot be done with the Bundle dies).

FREE to anyone who purchases the Forever Fern Bundle; ADDITIONALLY, you will get: a half Pack of the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper (shown on page 109 and 148 of the Annual Catalog)

$10.00 if you place an order other than the Bundle and are picking up your kit

$17.50 if you place an order other than the Bundle and want your kit mailed

Now…as promised, here is another project for you to consider:

This Home Décor piece was created with the Forever Fern Bundle, 2020-2022 6”x6” In Color Designer Series Paper, Layering Ovals Dies and Layering Circles Dies.  The inks are: Shaded Spruce, Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake and Memento Black.

Want to make this?  I will provide the papers, die cut pieces, rhinestones and step-by-step instruction for $15.00.

By the way, here is the inspiration for it…

This just shows that you can gain creativity from many sources!  The first card in Kit #1 and the Home Décor piece were designed with this in mind.

Kit #2 – This 4-card kit is one that will require assembly only.  All sentiments will be stamped with NON-STAMPIN’ UP! PRODUCTS. Here they are:

This is CASE’d from Sue Mohr (one of my favorite demonstrators)!  The second picture shows the inside of the card – love it!! Need a masculine birthday card?  Perfect!

I really like this technique.  With the colors and Designer Series Paper used, this card has a fresh, “springy” look to it. To see another version of the same layout, look at the 3rd card in Kit #1.

I modified a card that was on a blog called, “Mary Lee’s Stamping”.  For which occasion would you send this one?

Here is a super easy card to assemble, but it has a little twist. Check out the center of the flower – you have to make it!!  Simply wind baker’s twine on top of a dimensional.  Cool, huh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pricing for Card Kit #2 (includes: step-by-step instruction sent via email, cardstock, die-cut pieces, pre-punched shapes, stamping and embellishments).

          $20.00 if picked up

          $27.50 if mailed

Club Members: you may purchase Kit #2 in addition to receiving/purchasing Kit #1

ALL ORDERS FOR PRODUCTS AND CARD KITS MUST BE PLACED BY JULY 15.

Thanks for stopping by – see you next month!
