Male oriented cards are always the hardest for me
to make. So when I got the Geared Up Garage stamp set,
I knew I had a winner! This card was originally designed
by B.J. Peters and is appropriate for a birthday or Father's Day.
So, this one has a totally different look from our
first card. I liked this one so much that I duplicated
if for a friend's birthday!
Now, this card was CASE'd from Nola Creations. I
really like to softness of this card. It was made with
the Dear Doily stamp set (which is retiring) and makes
a nice thank you, sympathy or thinking of you card.
Change the message and it will work for a wedding
or birthday card.
Isn't this the sweetest card? I think it just
screams spring/summer. I sure am going to miss
the Gingham Gala Paper which is also retiring.
For what occasion would you use this card?
Another event starting this month will be the Christmas Card Club. The goal is to help you get your Christmas cards done over a period of months and is perfect for someone who likes to send out a variety of cards to friends and family.
Our first Club will be Monday, May 27 from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and costs $30.00. Here's how it works: I choose 2 Christmas cards (NOTE: cards may not always be made with all Stampin' Up! products and may utilize retired product of Stampin' Up!). Each person makes 5 cards of each design. You go home with 10 Christmas cards - not a bad start for getting those cards done in time for the holidays (did I really say that already???!!).
